Copper Reno

‘Copper’

DOG
August/September 1979 – 1995

Owner: Mr A. Reno

As a 3 or 4 month old puppy, Copper was found straying at Tony’s sister’s school just before Christmas 1979. Very thin and poorly they took him in, reporting it to the Police. When no one claimed him and the Police were unable to trace his owner, Tony and his sister were delighted to be able to keep him and named him Copper. This little stray certainly fell on his feet the day he wandered into that school. It’s obvious from the photo just how, love, care and devotion can make such a huge difference. Tony and his sister gave Copper a loving home for the rest of his life and he lived to be almost 16 years old. Copper was a very lucky puppy.
